In April of 2010, 4 students attending balboa high school started rehearsing at lunch time in the band room, spontaneously writing what would become the first original songs. After playing a few shows and a two year hiatus, the band's current line up formed out of the separation of another band. In late 2014, the band recorded their first EP, Empire of Ruin.
